Micro Weddings in Vancouver

We arrange micro weddings all the time in the Greater Vancouver area, so, for your reference, here is some information about them.

What is a micro wedding?

A micro wedding is usually defined as a wedding with under 50 guests. However, the wedding can have just a handful of guests or 10-20—the choice is yours.

What is important about a micro wedding is the scale, not the quality. Because you have fewer people attending, it is simpler to arrange and much less expensive. You can still have a beautiful bouquet of flowers or table centerpiece at dinner, but a micro wedding may only need one centerpiece instead of 15. Also, you may be able to have the wedding at certain places that would be unavailable with a larger crowd.

Why have a micro wedding?

Micro weddings are sought after because of their beauty and simplicity. They are intimate affairs with only the closest friends and/or relatives attending. At a large wedding there may be guests who you hardly know. This is not the case at a micro wedding.

Another advantage of the micro wedding is that because they are smaller, they can often be arranged with much less lead time, sometimes even weeks or days. A large wedding often has to be arranged well over a year in advance.

You may be more comfortable saying your vows in front of fewer people. There is a big difference between participating in a wedding with a dozen guests versus hundreds who are lined up in rows to watch.

The micro wedding can be every bit as lovely as a traditional wedding with a long guest list. You can still have a beautiful site for the ceremony, a fabulous meal afterwards, sumptuous flowers, and stay in a good hotel. It is all up to you, but we can help make your dreams a reality.
